Gráinne brings experience, creative flair, practical design solutions, and a warm, collaborative approach to working with her clients. She offers remote consultations online that work effectively – returning with design plans for kitchens, lighting plans, bathroom and bedroom joinery for example. She is also brilliant with colour schemes.

Connemara Sands Hotel
As first time hoteliers taking on a large outdated building was a mind blowing experience. A friend recommend architectural Spaces designer Grainne who turned out to be a life saver. Not only was Grainne able to use the spaces to its most functional capacity but also be conscious of light and allow for ambience lighting in spaces that would otherwise be lost.Ideas I had in my head she cleverly mastered by choosing the perfect colours and soft furnishings that brought an eclectic design which guests still compliment and are curious about paint colours, wallpaper and particular fabric and furniture throughout the building.
Mostly what Grainne did for the hotel and what we wanted to achieve was to make the building reflect its surrounding the Connemara wild Atlantic landscape and have a true connection. I can safely say with her chose of colours, soft furnishings and use of light the hotel and its surroundings are in harmony with each other.

Quite simply working with Grainne was a wonderful and exciting experience.
I am a mum to 2 young girls, with very little spare time, living in Galway, with (what was) a run-down house in Dublin that required a high end renovation for the rental market. My dilemma was, how would I get the renovation completed?
On my first meeting with Grainne, I immediately knew that she could make what I had deemed impossible, POSSIBLE. She also really impressed me with her creative design ideas, particularly regarding the re-modelling of the ground floor, to ensure it would inject more light into the space. I relied heavily on her for advice along the way, as I was not familiar with the tender or build process and she always had the answers and made it all seem straightforward.
The build happened on schedule and within budget and to say that we were delighted with the results would be a huge understatement.
Grainne made the whole process so straightforward and enjoyable. She has an acute attention to detail and she always kept a sharp eye on the budget when looking at finishes to include. As a testament to the beauty of the finished house, we managed to achieve a rental 40% higher than we had initially anticipated within 24 hours of the house going on the lettings market. It was phenomenal to say the least. Grainne was always so easy to deal with and has a great way about her that endears her to people that she works with. She was always thinking ahead and as a result, it made the whole process stress free for me and also the building contractor. She has exceptional talent, is a delight to work with and has extraordinary creativity.
