Achill Island is truly a breathtaking place and we were delighted to be involved in the interior design of this home. Our clients brief was to create a relaxing, calm and contemporary design space that reflected the environment around them. With the use of fresh and simple colour palettes and varied selection of textures within our selection of finishes and materials we incorporated clean and contemporary with natural materials. The combination of soft natural fabrics along side clean stone and metal details have been executed beautifully on this project which has added to its finished success. Attention to detail and a high level of finish was extremely important to get right with special attention to all bespoke items and joinery items which is evident with the feature stone fire centre piece in the living area. It was a joy to create a calm and clear space that was also warm and inviting within the heart of Archill overlooking the Atlantic ocean on the Wild Atlantic Way.
