The Brief
The history of this restaurant was very interesting, built early in the 20th Century and changed owner for a few times, changing with them the design of the premises. Its location in the heart of the beautiful Westport it’s a very busy area. The briefing for this time was to create a warm and trendy restaurant, showing some of the old features of the past and adding a bit of character with a fresh look.
Our Solution
Our brief was to fully renovate this bar and restaurant that had remained closed for a period of time and to create a warm and inviting interior that incorporated a welcoming and go to destination. Spatial planning, joinery detailing, atmospheric lighting and selection of fabrics, textures and tones inspired by the natural environment all incorporated to create the warm and inviting bar and restaurant in the heart of Westport.
